Unstack the Cube — back to the game

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026.

1. Who is responsible

Unstack the Cube is a free game published by Alexis Demarquis, France. Contact: support@unstackthecube.com.

One account for two games. Unstack the Cube is the second game of unstackthedock.com, next to Unstack the Dock. Both games use the same Google account: signing in on one signs you in on the other. Each game stores its own data, kept apart. Unstack the Dock has its own privacy policy, consistent with this one.

2. What data we collect

Playing as a guest: nothing about you is stored on our servers. Your progress, current level, stars, hints, removes, daily streak and daily challenge results are stored in your browser only (local storage); your daily challenge result is never sent to us. To show the leaderboard, your browser downloads it from our database provider, which sees your IP address like any website does.

Playing signed in with Google: we store

These Cube records are separate from the Dock's: stars, progress, daily challenges and leaderboards are not shared between the two games.

3. Why

To run the game, keep your progress across your devices, and show the leaderboard. The leaderboard is public: anyone who opens the game sees your first name and last initial, your picture and your level. The daily challenge boards are public in the same way: they show your first name and last initial, your picture, your time of the day and your daily challenge streak.

Legal basis: performance of the service you asked for by signing in.

4. Who processes it

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

5. Cookies and storage

No tracking cookies, and no cookies at all set by the game. Local storage in your browser holds your progress and, when you are signed in, your session token, which is the same for both games. Analytics use no cookies and no personal identifiers.

6. How long

Account data is kept as long as your account exists. Guest data stays on your device until you clear your browser storage.

7. Delete your account

Open the account panel in the game and tap Delete my account. Because the account is shared, this deletes it for both games: your leaderboard entries, daily challenge results and saved progress in Unstack the Cube and in Unstack the Dock are deleted immediately and permanently. Progress kept on your device is not affected.

For any other request, email support@unstackthecube.com.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its use. Email support@unstackthecube.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (France) or your local data protection authority.

9. Children

The game has no age gate. Signing in follows Google's own age rules.
